We have noticed that many of our visitors are English speaking and from the US. We appreciate your interest and consider to make some part of the blog available in English. Please tell us if you are interested and would like information about the project of restoration of this old cottage in southern Sweden or if you have any other inquiries. We have done quite a lot of historical research of the two households that lived in Källshyltan from the 17th century until recently. The photo was taken around 1930 as Peter died in 1932. Their second son, Johan August, born in January 5,1981, emigrated to Bridgeport, CT, in 1902.
